We feature some of the largest motel units in New Zealand, with spacious layouts and everything you need to relax, work, dine and explore during your time in Southland.

Ongoing reinvestment across the property includes new Imperial Luxury bedding in all units and 50″ Smart TVs with built‑in Chromecast, helping make every stay more comfortable and convenient.

We’re also excited to offer newly refurbished studios, superior one‑bedroom units and luxury suites, further enhancing comfort and the overall guest experience at Villas Motel.

Villas Motel is now dog friendly in selected units, so your furry companions can join you on your stay (by prior arrangement).

We are now dog friendly in selected units, so your furry companions are welcome to stay with you. A small additional fee applies, and availability is limited, so please advise reception when booking or on arrival so we can allocate a suitable room. Terms and conditions apply.

The Villas Motel allow dogs on premise.
Before check-in, please read, sign and return the dog policy below. Dogs must be registered with us before your stay. Guests who bring an unregistered pet will be asked to leave, and our cancellation policy will apply.

All our units offer kitchen and dining facilities plus for catered options we have an excellent range to choose from on-site and close by.

Villa Breakfasts – Continental Breakfast delivered to your room.

BBQ & Leisure – We provide a beautiful, landscaped leisure area including BBQ facilities, outdoor dining and seating, ideal for on-site family and group gatherings staying with us.

Homestead Restaurant & Bar – located directly opposite the motel this is a great place for the whole family and features an extensive selection of delicious dishes and exciting kids menus as well as The Ave Sports Bar and entertainment venue.

Also, within a neighbourhood of convenience a short walk to other eateries including more restaurants, bakery, dairy and convenience stores, takeaways and Caltex service station.

Car-parking

Is free – on-site we offer a large car-parking area with bus/trailer parking and 24-hour CCTV monitors. Carparking is on first come first serve basis.

Housekeeping

All our beds are triple sheeted (no bedspreads) ensuring all coverings are completely changed between guest stays ensuring the highest quality and hygiene satisfaction.

All linen laundry and supplies are outsourced and provided by professional commercial resources.

Each unit is quality assured by our supervisors upon completion.

Units are serviced daily throughout your stay.
All our luxurious bedding is supplied by Vendella – DreamGreen environmentally sustainable bedding.
